How Open Banking Works
Open Banking is a European regulation (PSD2) that requires banks to give customers the ability to securely share their account data with authorised third parties. WonderMoney uses this infrastructure via GoCardless (formerly TrueLayer), one of Europe's leading Open Banking providers, to connect directly to your bank.

We can only read data
Open Banking connections are strictly read-only. WonderMoney can see your balance and transactions. It can never initiate a payment or move money.
Bank-level encryption
All data is transmitted over 256-bit SSL encryption. Your login credentials are entered directly on your bank's secure page. WonderMoney never sees them.
